Most hammam programmes at Essens close with a clay face mask. Applied after the scrub and foam massage, the mask is the calm ending of the ritual. This step is not a separate treatment but a natural part of the programme.

The face mask as a separate session

The Face Mask is a short 20-minute treatment focused on the face. It can be taken on its own or added after a massage or a hammam ritual. It is a good choice if you want a short pause for your face without adding a long programme to your visit.

Which programmes include a clay mask?

The Traditional Turkish Bath and the Sultan Hammam both include a clay face mask. In the Sultan Traditional Hammam & Massage Ritual, the clay face mask is applied before the massage. Because each programme is different, we recommend checking the list of steps on the treatment page before you choose.

After your treatment

Spending some time in the relaxation room after the hammam and mask helps you finish the experience without rushing. If you will be out in strong sun later in the day, remember to protect your face. If you have any skin condition, allergy or recent treatment, please tell our team before the ritual.
